This past weekend, I finally made it down Camp Ndzou, an eco-lodge located in the Moribane Forest Reserve that is part of the Chimanimani Conservation Area in the District of Sussundenga. Camp Ndzou had been on my radar for the last few months and it's a place I wanted to see before I left Moz. Camp Ndzou is known for its walking safaris through the reserve in which you go looking for forest elephants. Unfortunately, the gang and I did not spot any elephants, but we did explore the forest and spent a nice weekend in an awesome little chalet in the middle of the jungle! For those of you who don't know... I have this little fantasy of living in a tree house in the jungle (and painting), ahaha. So, needless to say.... I almost didn't come back to site.
